FM104 Phoneshow with Adrian Kennedy

Congratulations to Emma Frier from Artane who won FM104's Desperate Housewives Competition last Friday. It was a very early start for me (haven't been up at 6:30am since the house giveaway earlier in the year), but we'd a great morning with our finalists on Friday morning in Diep Le Shaker on Pembroke Lane. I was the M.C. for the final and out of four groups of nine people Emma made it to the final four who had to guess the value of the contents of a shopping basket. She guessed closest in the nail biting finale to the competition and was thrilled to win. Later this year she'll be flying to L.A. where she'll have a walk-on part in the hit TV show. Following an expose on the Phoneshow on 20th June regarding so-called "party pills" we have decided to set up a petition to urge the government to ban the sale of these party pills before someone dies from using them. Experts say they are more dangerous than Ecstasy yet you can buy them in most Hemp Stores in Dublin.

UGH!!!!!!! This friendly little Tarantuala was spotted this weekend is a pet shop in Stillorgan. Why would anyone want one of these little fellas as a "pet". On a similar note keep your eyes open for lizzards??? A new survey has been launhced to see how many of the cold blooded slimey fellas are living in Ireland, thanks to our warming climate. If you spot one running around contact the Irish Wildlife Trust...then RUN!!!!
